Disaster Medicine
Over time our assessments during deployments have identified a gap in impacted areas, primarily around Disaster medicine and Emergency Management. To help close this gap we have developed a complete curriculum around both disciplines of Disaster Medicine: Emergency Medicine and Emergency Management.
Course Structure
Courses build upon each and help learners move up the cognitive domain. Each certificate curriculum allows the student to start at the basic level and move up to more advanced courses.
Built into our core educational philosophy is that as adult learners we need to be able to learn at a pace and schedule that works within our lives. To facilitate these, our basic level awareness courses are typically online, allowing the learner to become acclimated to the learning process at their own pace. Subsequent courses are typically hybrid. This allows the student to maximize classroom time.

Humanitarian Ready Certification
Reinforcing our commitment to the humanitarian community, we have taken our existing courses and bundled them for our humanitarian partners to help them prepare for their next mission. This certification is free for our humanitarian partners. We want to make sure that we all go home at night and education is one of the best ways that we can do that.

Certificate in Emergency Medicine
Our certificate in emergency medicine prepares students to treat and manage the medical aspects of a disaster or emergency. Each course builds upon one another and takes a crawl, walk, run approach. The interactive skills and scenarios emulate real-life situations that our team has encountered.
Certificate in Emergency Management
Our certificate in emergency management provides students with the knowledge to manage a range of emergencies and provide for the planning and preparedness of disasters and conflicts. Learning is through detailed practical exercises and strategies to help identify potential areas of strength and those that need improvement.
